Each year, Raleigh hosts an event called The Great Cover Up. Local bands are selected and given the opportunity to play cover songs of their favorite bands. My friend Brian Corum plays in a band called Lonnie Walker (myspace.com/lonniewalker). They chose to cover the Talking Heads and I must say, I was impressed. In between bands Charles Bukowski did some readings...The following are a few photos from the event.
