Last year a friend and I wondered into a secret place named Burnt Forest(we officially named it this). Burnt Forest has an elevation of about 7,000 feet (i think) and is one of the most amazing places I have ever been. I am pretty sure that this place is kinda constantly burning and always growing at the same time. Usually, it doesn't fully burn... Just enough to be always creepy.
Go to Siskiyou National Forest and you will see this spectacle on the way to Island Lake. best spot ever....
