My understanding of where GSD may be from?
Born and raised in the Midwest, GSD at some point made his way across the US to California. Meeting with all of the social clashes that divide this great country, GSD found himself living and skating in the Southern California's skate punk scene. After becoming one of skateboarding's strangest and eccentric pro skateboarders GSD sort of slipped into the shadows and disappeared as legends some time do.

I have spent the last three or so years working with Mr. GSD at my job with Soletech, he was in charge of all things content having to do with Emerica. As I worked along side GSD I started to realize that he was of a very different nature then the average boring people you deal with on the everyday. Since knowing him I'm always struck with questions on who Mr. Davis really is and what makes him tick.

He is currently spending a few months traveling around Southeast Asia and has been reporting about it on his site Arcanecandy and the Altamont site, if you get the chance please take a glimpse in to GSD's world.

GSD is very elusive and never lets anyone shoot his photo I appreciate this rare opportunity to snap this quick one of GSD holding up his pro board from the 80's.
